Bicara Yang Merindu

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious

Ya Allah,
Kau tabahkanlah hatiku

Kau kuatkanlah semangatku
Untuk aku menempuh ranjau onak yang berliku

Ya Allah,
Kau permudahkanlah segala urusanku
Untuk aku terus menerus beribadah dan menyembahMu

Ya Allah,
Kau lembutkanlah hatiku

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious
As Salamu Alaykum w.b.t.

Alhamdulillah, an unplanned holiday for 2D1N in Cameron Highlands goes smoothly 2 weeks ago. Although we are only in a night stayed, but it was very meaningful to me, and my family. I supposed to remember when is the last time I went to that hills. Ermm...I really can't recall my memory, too bad. This time of journey I found like everything was new for me...I feel that I never been there before, hehe.

Ok, I'm running late for bed. Here is some memories taken on that sweet day. I hope I can take a chance to go to that place again. Good night dear friends and sleep tight.

Nice modern bungalow - Hillview Inn located at Tanah Rata.

Two thumbs up!

My Mom and I. Do we look alike? ;)

Walking up to the hills...feww..

Muslimah After September 11

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious
As Salamu Alaykum w.b.t.

Over 20,000 people who convert to Islam in America every year. Came from Catholic Carlifornian family, Angela Collins became a Muslim immediately after the events of September 11. Lets watch this video and read her story to find out why she converted to Islam. Subhanallah.

Angela Collins: Why I decided to submit?

"I accept that I cannot control the events that occur in my life or in the lives of others.

Islam is the only religion that communicates total submission to our Creator, the Creator of all people and of all things. As a Muslim I know that everything I do first begins with an intention and then I must transform that intention into an effort in order to carry out what has already been decreed. This wisdom defines my path to be a better person to myself, my family, my community and to all of my brothers and sisters here on earth.

In essence Allah (the one God) opened my heart, Islam gave me the direction, and now I live to serve out the guidance lent by my Creator for happiness here on earth and if Allah wills, in the hereafter.

While religion is a resource to help guide ourselves to good behavior through our spirituality, there is no prerequisite that it should be far fetched in mental comprehension.

I am a recent convert. Catholicism is the religion followed by my forefathers. At the age of 14, I refused the trinity concept and narrowed what I saw as a complicated tale of 'three in one' down to 'two in one' and started attending a Baptist church.

Throughout my life, I have searched for understanding, but when it came to my faith I truly was confused about why God would come as a human being and would allow himself to die for the sins of only those privileged enough to believe in his (or his son's) crucifixion. I found this explanation extravagant and shared my doubts with pastors and scholars who gave every effort to communicate the Christian belief to my understanding. I asked myself: "Why would my religion need to be so complex?" When I reached adulthood, I decided to make it very simple. There was just one, our Creator and that was it. No other explanation could rationally make sense.

I see Islam as a religion that came to clarify the errors of human beings who changed the original word of God to fit their interests. Islam is simple: God is God. God created us and we worship God and God alone. God sent Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed (PBUH) to deliver his message to guide all people. In Islam, Jesus is the only prophet who never died which is why he is the only messenger who will come back before the Day of Judgment to lead the people of the books: [the Torah, the Injeel (Bible) the book of Psalms and the Quran]. The Quran is the final book that has never been altered to fit the changing interest of people throughout history.

Islam confirms that you are not awarded passage into heaven just because you say you are Muslim. And you may not go straight to heaven just because you believe that God is monotheistic. You go to heaven based on your intentions and actions following the message taught to us by the messengers themselves and confirmed by the original books of God. Heaven is not an exclusive club for those who merely follow what their fathers taught them. Instead it is your responsibility, especially as a Muslim, to constantly search for truth, understanding and to read and think. After reading every chapter in the Quran twice and taking detailed notes, I believe that this masterpiece could only have come from my Creator. Without a doubt the author of this book knows more about me than I know about myself.

It is no secret that Islam is seriously misunderstood and disliked by many here in my homeland, the United States. My conversion to this "controversial" religion has my family and friends puzzled. It is my sincere belief that Allah led me to Islam by enhancing my passion in exploring unfamiliar perspectives through foreign travel. I have a genuine interest in building bridges with all people everywhere rather than promoting my own ideology as the only system that can work for all people.

While culture shock is a mild term to express the drastically different life styles of Muslims in the Middle East, I saw great beauty in the generosity of people, the cohesiveness of families and the immediate acceptance of a girl so foreign in her ways. Even so, in the present I face a culture shock within my own predominantly Middle Eastern Muslim community. I do understand the challenges a Muslim born into their religion faces to dissect their own culture within it. After finding myself in Islam, I am able to adhere to the teachings supported by the Quran and Hadiths while also managing to bypass the cultural manifestations taught by Muslims born into their religion. Islam is multi-cultural and is a system that can be adopted in any environment at any point in time.

I can confidently say that if Allah had not breathed Islam into my soul, I would have never found Angela. Well, today, here I am: Angela, a Muslim American: the soul who persistently searched for her Creator and has found the Creator of all that is in the universe and beyond, in Islam".
Angela Collins

Power to Change

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious
As Salamu Alaykum w.b.t.

Have you ever experienced moments of difficulty? Have you ever had a moments when someone makes you worried? Make you sad? Have you ever have a moments when someone really wants to see you fail in your life? Envy and jealous of you? Betrayed you? Why? Does it really bothers you?

Believe in yourself and all that you are. And believe that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle. Believe is a power to change everything. Find a friend that can be your ears, can be a shoulder to cry on. A friend is the one who shares smile, wipe your tears, walk with you side by side. And a friend that have faith and believe in you when you have ceased to believe in yourself.

Whatever it takes, just remember Allah is always with you.

"And when My slaves ask you concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright".

Dengan Nama Allah Yang Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Penyayang
As Salamu Alaykum w.b.t.

Subhanallah.

Waallahualam.

Prophet Muhammad’s Last Sermon: A Final Admonition

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious
 As Salamu Alaykum w.b.t.

Written by Amatullah Abdullah
(Edited by

Beloved Prophet Muhammad, may God send His praises upon him, was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia circa 570 C.E.  He is an example for all of humanity.  He was a remarkable man at all times.  He excelled in all walks of life by being a prophet, ruler, philosopher, orator, soldier, husband, friend, father, uncle, nephew, and a grandfather.  He was a man of love, patience, courage, wisdom, generosity, intelligence and magnitude who inspired millions of lives throughout the world.
God says in the Quran that he was sent as a mercy for the people of the world.
“We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples.” (Quran 21:107)
His Prophetic Mission began at the age of forty, circa 610 C.E., and continued until 632 C.E.  From the path of ignorance, mankind was lead to the straight path and was blessed with the guidance of God.
Shortly before his death, Prophet Muhammad delivered a sermon during theHajj, which came to be known as his “Final Sermon”.  This final sermon was not only a reminder to his followers, but also an important admonition.  The final sermon confirms the end of his Prophetic Mission.
Year 10 A.H.  of the Islamic Calendar is considered to be one of the most significant years for three reasons.  Firstly, this was the year when the Prophet delivered his Last Sermon during his farewell pilgrimage to Mecca.  Secondly, this was the year where number of deputations came to the Prophet to announce their Islam as well as their tribes.  Thirdly, it was the golden period of Islam when multitudes of people embraced the faith by accepting the message of the Prophet.
Prophet Muhammad undertook his farewell pilgrimage in the year 10 A.H.  His farewell pilgrimage to Mecca is one of the most significant historical events in the minds of Muslims, for it was the first and last pilgrimage made by Prophet Muhammad, as well as being the model for performing the fifth pillar of Islam, theHajj.
Prophet Muhammad’s final sermon was delivered during the Hajj of the year 632 C.E., the ninth day of Dhul Hijjah, the 12th month of the lunar year, at Arafat, the most blessed day of the year.  There were countless Muslims present with the Prophet during his last pilgrimage when he delivered his last Sermon.

The Final Sermon:

After praising, and thanking God, the Prophet, may God send His praises upon him said:
“O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again.  Therefore, listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.
O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust.  Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners.  Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you.  Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds.  God has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived.  Your capital, however, is yours to keep.  You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity.  God has Judged that there shall be no interest, and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn Abd’al Muttalib shall henceforth be waived...
Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion.  He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.
O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you.  Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under a trust from God and with His permission.  If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness.  Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers.  And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.
O People, listen to me in earnest, worship God, perform your five daily prayers, fast during the month of Ramadan, and offer Zakat.  Perform Hajj if you have the means.
All mankind is from Adam and Eve.  An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; white has no superiority over black, nor does a black have any superiority over white; [none have superiority over another] except by piety and good action.  Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.  Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly.  Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.
Remember, one day you will appear before God and answer for your deeds.  So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.
O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me, and no new faith will be born.  Reason well, therefore, O people, and understand words which I convey to you.  I leave behind me two things, the Quran and my example, the Sunnah, and if you follow these you will never go astray.
All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and it may be that the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly.  Be my witness, O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people.”
Thus the beloved Prophet completed his Final Sermon, and upon it, near the summit of Arafat, the revelation came down:
“…This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My Grace upon you, and have chosen Islam for you as your religion…” (Quran 5:3)
Even today the Last Sermon of Prophet Muhammad is passed to every Muslim in every corner of the word through all possible means of communication.  Muslims are reminded about it in mosques and in lectures.  Indeed the meanings found in this sermon are indeed astounding, touching upon some of the most important rights God has over humanity, and humanity has over each other.  Though the Prophet’s soul has left this world, his words are still living in our hearts.

Back to Fitra

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious
As Salamu Alaykum w.b.t.

Syawal reincarnate again...It is a day of victory for Muslims being able to purify the soul from the passions of the world and return to pure nature.

This year was a very meaningful year for me to be able to gather together with my family members. Alhamdulillah...This is a victory in the bags for my family when all can meet in the day of the greatness of Aidilfitri and mutual tolerance between us.

Wisdom of the day:

1. Our spirit to Allah s.w.t
It is not a feast of wearing a new shirts, new shoes, new branded handbag or so ever. But the fact is the spirit of how deep our taqwa/fear to Allah. The spirit of piety of the thicker and stronger in the soul of each candidate who has successfully completed training during the month of Ramadan, that's the meaning of victories actually required from the syara'.

Similarly, in the spirit of 'new return or nature', that is the manifestation of a meaningful return Aidilfitri (Eid) to the base nature is pure and holy. Purification from all physical and spiritual impurities and clean from stain and sin is the most valuable wisdom in this feast.

At the same time, Aidilfitri should be welcomed with gratitude to the One of the great blessings in the form of gift of God to all His servants who have completed the fasting of Ramadhan.

2. Our spirit of human
The spirit of tolerance and peace. The strengthen the family relationships (silahturrahim) which is 'throw away the dirty and take the pure (buang yang keruh dan ambil yang jernih)'.

Hope this day may give a blessing and a light ray guidance to my family. May Allah open the door of paradise to us and to His servants. And may Allah strengthen our faith and devotion to Him. Amin. Takaballahu minna wa minkum. Minal aidin wal faidzin.

Ramadhan Reminder

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious
As Salamu Alaykum w.b.t.

Sisters and brothers in Islam,
Alhamdulillah.. We are still in the midst of the month of Ramadhan Al Mubarak. Wish you a blessing Ramadhan Kareem. As we know Muslims is fighting this month to get rewards as much as possible from Allah s.w.t. What does Ramadhan teach us? For me, Ramdhan taught me to be more grateful to the Creator. Be thankful of what He has gave to me. Be patient. Be discipline. To think about the poor and needy.

However, in the middle of busy collectiong rewards on this month, please bear in mind to avoid BACKBITING which is to talk about others people behind their backs. The Qur'an compares backbiting to eating the flesh of your friend, which shows how hated this action is in Islam. The Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) taught us that mentioning anything negative about a person when they are not present is backbiting. One of his followers asked: "What if this negative thing is really true about this person?" The Prophet (pbuh) replied by saying that even if it is true, this is considered backbiting. But if it is false, it is even worse than backbiting because it is also a lie.

"O you who believe! Avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting) . And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful".

"Hai orang-orang yang beriman, jauhilah kebanyakan dari prasangka, sesungguhnya sebagian prasangka itu adalah dosa dan janganlah kamu mencari-cari kesalahan orang lain dan janganlah sebahagian kamu menggunjing sebahagian yang lain. Sukakah salah seorang di antara kamu memakan daging saudaranya yang sudah mati? Maka tentulah kamu merasa jijik kepadanya. Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Penerima taubat lagi Maha Penyayang".
Al Hujuraat verse 12.

Hope we can learn a lesson from this 'ayat'. Don't waste all of our rewards we got just because of our nafs'.

Ramadhan is Here, Alhamdulillah

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious
Salam ukhwah,

"The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan i.e. is present at his home), he must observe Saum (fasts) that month, and whoever is ill or on a journey, the same number [of days which one did not observe Saum (fasts) must be made up] from other days. Allah intends for you ease, and He does not want to make things difficult for you. (He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that you must magnify Allah [i.e. to say Takbir (Allahu-Akbar; Allah is the Most Great) on seeing the crescent of the months of Ramadan and Shawwal] for having guided you so that you may be grateful to Him".

(Al-Baqarah verse 185)

Ramadhan is here.

I take this opportunity to wish all my Muslims readers wherever you are, Ramadhan Kareem.

May this Ramadhan be as bright as ever. May the light of Ramadhan lead and show us to the path of peace. May this Ramadhan will increase our taqwa and imaan. And may Allah grant us His forgiveness and open the gate of Paradise to us...Amin.

Being a career women in the same time a single mother, require a lots of sacrifice that to pays so dearly... Just thinking how to balance my life as a career women and a mother. How to face this uncertainties? Does anyone can help me to answer this?

Ya Allah, give me physical and spiritual strength to go thru' all of this. With all the calm and patience, Ya Allah, give me strength to brave as Siti Khadijah (RA) and Siti Hajar (RA). Guide me Ya Allah...

"For Muslim men and women,- for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in Charity, for men and women who fast (and deny themselves), for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah's praise,- for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward".

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious

Salam ukhwah,
Islam is a religion of nature. We were born to have faith and belief (iman). Moreover Islamic religion is not merely a faith, but a compelete way of Islam. Faith and believe will form an "aqeedah" (to tie or knot) and to affirm you faith in Allah. Therefore, al-aqeedah or al-itiqad by means of Islam is: The firm creed that one's heart is fixed upon without any wavering or doubt. It excludes any supposition, doubt or suspicion.

There is 6 articles of faith:
  1. Belief in God (Allah), the one and only one worthy of all worship (tawhid).
  2. Belief in the Angels (mala'ika).
  3. Belief in the Books (kitab) sent by Allah (including the Qur'an).
  4. Belief in all the Messengers (rasul) sent by Allah
  5. Belief in the Day of Judgment (qiyama)
  6. Belief in Destiny (Fate) (qadar).

The Messenger informed Mu'adh bin Jabar, when he was going to the land of Yemen, "You are going to a people from the People of the Book. Let the first thing you call them to be the worship of Allah. If they acknowledge Allah, then inform them that Allah has obligated upon them five prayers during their days and nights". (Hadith Al-Bukhari Muslim).

The matter of aqeedah is the first priority. Faith and knowledge are the means of attaining it. And the source of knowledge and faith is the Kitab and As-Sunnah.

Allah knows best.

Peace & Tolerance

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious

Salam to all,
Islam never differentiate between black or white, man or women, appearance, rank & property. Islam has never distinguished lineage of a person.  Islam invites people to know each others. Islam is beautiful. Islam is universal. Islam is unique. We are ONE and We are MUSLIM. Let's us work together raise up Islam to the entire world. Amin..

"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)".

"Hai manusia, sesungguhnya Kami menciptakan kamu dari seorang laki-laki dan seorang perempuan dan menjadikan kamu berbangsa-bangsa dan bersuku-suku supaya kamu saling kenal-mengenal. Sesungguhnya orang yang paling mulia di antara kamu di sisi Allah ialah orang yang paling bertaqwa di antara kamu. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Mengenal".

The Journey

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious

Surah Al-Ikhlaas

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious

Surah Al-Ikhlaas or At-Tauhid (The Purity)

1. Say (O Muhammad p.b.u.h.): "He is Allah, (the) One".

2. "Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks)".

3. "He begets not, nor was He begotten";

4. "And there is none co-equal or Comparable unto Him".

The holy Prophet (s) is narrated to have said in a tradition: "Is there anyone of you unable to recite one third of the Qur'an in one night"? One of his listeners asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Who is able to do that"? The Prophet (s) said: "Recite 'Say: He, Allah, is One! (Sura Ikhlaas)".

APSH - Still

Open Your Eyes..

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious..

Salam sisters and brothers in Islam,

Look around yourselves
Can’t you see this wonder
Spreaded infront of you
The clouds floating by
The skies are clear and blue
Planets in the orbits
The moon and the sun
Such perfect harmony
Let’s start question in ourselves
Isn’t this proof enough for us
Or are we so blind
To push it all aside..

We just have to
Open our eyes, our hearts, and minds
If we just look bright to see the signs
We can’t keep hiding from the truth
Let it take us by surprise
Take us in the best way

Guide us every single day..

Keep us close to You
Until the end of time..

Look inside yourselves
Such a perfect order
Hiding in yourselves
Running in your veins

What about anger love and pain
And all the things you’re feeling
Can you touch them with your hand?
So are they really there?
Lets start question in ourselves
Isn’t this proof enough for us?
Or are we so blind
To push it all aside..?

We just have to
Open our eyes, our hearts, and minds
If we just look bright to see the signs
We can’t keep hiding from the truth
Let it take us by surprise
Take us in the best way

Guide us every single day..

Keep us close to You
Until the end of time..

When a baby’s born
So helpless and weak
And you’re watching him growing..
So why deny
Whats in front of your eyes

The biggest miracle of life..

We just have to
Open our eyes, our hearts, and minds
If we just look bright to see the signs
We can’t keep hiding from the truth
Let it take us by surprise
Take us in the best way

Guide us every single day..

Keep us close to You
Until the end of time..
You created everything
We belong to You
Ya Robb we raise our hands
Forever we thank You..

Ya Allah, Grant Me Patience..

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious..

Salam ukhwah,

I'm back to knocking out my feelings..
We often hear people say that the assumption from Allah is to test the bearers of His Messengers and among of His slaves. We are told that we are created and to be tested. Thus we will be rewarded and will be punished as a result. Allah tests us with wealth, plenty, ease and power just He tests us with poverty, hardship and oppressions. The test can be very hard, but by means Allah raises the level of 'iman' and erases the sins of the righteous believers.

Every year I received the same test from Allah. I believed the tests is to remove my sins. I believed the test to prevail the patience from impatience on me. I believed Allah want to test how much my worships to Him. How strong my faith in Him. How much I believe in Him. I know that He is observing me. I know that He is aware of me. And I'm grateful that He never leave me alone. Wherefore I keep facing this test. Therefore I never been stopped testing. Should I grumble? Should I be complaining? No I shouldn't. I should be grateful and thank Him. I had to be bravely to accept it. I have to sincerely deal with this test.

Should my heart whispering...

Be brave,
Rest assured that Allah
will multiply your rewards.
Accept with sincere heart,
Don't you despair,
Don't ever be disappointed,
Don't be sad,
Don't you ever cry,
Never give it up,
Everything happens for a reason,
All must have the wisdom,
To be closed to Him,
To love Him..

"Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: "We believe," and will not be tested.
And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allah will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars (although Allah knows all that before putting them to test)". (Al-Ankabuut verse 2-3).

"Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope".
(Al-Baqarah verse 286).

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
