Back to Fitra

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious
As Salamu Alaykum w.b.t.

Syawal reincarnate again...It is a day of victory for Muslims being able to purify the soul from the passions of the world and return to pure nature.

This year was a very meaningful year for me to be able to gather together with my family members. Alhamdulillah...This is a victory in the bags for my family when all can meet in the day of the greatness of Aidilfitri and mutual tolerance between us.

Wisdom of the day:

1. Our spirit to Allah s.w.t
It is not a feast of wearing a new shirts, new shoes, new branded handbag or so ever. But the fact is the spirit of how deep our taqwa/fear to Allah. The spirit of piety of the thicker and stronger in the soul of each candidate who has successfully completed training during the month of Ramadan, that's the meaning of victories actually required from the syara'.

Similarly, in the spirit of 'new return or nature', that is the manifestation of a meaningful return Aidilfitri (Eid) to the base nature is pure and holy. Purification from all physical and spiritual impurities and clean from stain and sin is the most valuable wisdom in this feast.

At the same time, Aidilfitri should be welcomed with gratitude to the One of the great blessings in the form of gift of God to all His servants who have completed the fasting of Ramadhan.

2. Our spirit of human
The spirit of tolerance and peace. The strengthen the family relationships (silahturrahim) which is 'throw away the dirty and take the pure (buang yang keruh dan ambil yang jernih)'.

Hope this day may give a blessing and a light ray guidance to my family. May Allah open the door of paradise to us and to His servants. And may Allah strengthen our faith and devotion to Him. Amin. Takaballahu minna wa minkum. Minal aidin wal faidzin.

Ramadhan Reminder

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious
As Salamu Alaykum w.b.t.

Sisters and brothers in Islam,
Alhamdulillah.. We are still in the midst of the month of Ramadhan Al Mubarak. Wish you a blessing Ramadhan Kareem. As we know Muslims is fighting this month to get rewards as much as possible from Allah s.w.t. What does Ramadhan teach us? For me, Ramdhan taught me to be more grateful to the Creator. Be thankful of what He has gave to me. Be patient. Be discipline. To think about the poor and needy.

However, in the middle of busy collectiong rewards on this month, please bear in mind to avoid BACKBITING which is to talk about others people behind their backs. The Qur'an compares backbiting to eating the flesh of your friend, which shows how hated this action is in Islam. The Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) taught us that mentioning anything negative about a person when they are not present is backbiting. One of his followers asked: "What if this negative thing is really true about this person?" The Prophet (pbuh) replied by saying that even if it is true, this is considered backbiting. But if it is false, it is even worse than backbiting because it is also a lie.

"O you who believe! Avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting) . And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful".

"Hai orang-orang yang beriman, jauhilah kebanyakan dari prasangka, sesungguhnya sebagian prasangka itu adalah dosa dan janganlah kamu mencari-cari kesalahan orang lain dan janganlah sebahagian kamu menggunjing sebahagian yang lain. Sukakah salah seorang di antara kamu memakan daging saudaranya yang sudah mati? Maka tentulah kamu merasa jijik kepadanya. Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Penerima taubat lagi Maha Penyayang".
Al Hujuraat verse 12.

Hope we can learn a lesson from this 'ayat'. Don't waste all of our rewards we got just because of our nafs'.

Alhamdulillah.

Ramadhan is Here, Alhamdulillah

In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful and Most Gracious
Salam ukhwah,

"The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan i.e. is present at his home), he must observe Saum (fasts) that month, and whoever is ill or on a journey, the same number [of days which one did not observe Saum (fasts) must be made up] from other days. Allah intends for you ease, and He does not want to make things difficult for you. (He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that you must magnify Allah [i.e. to say Takbir (Allahu-Akbar; Allah is the Most Great) on seeing the crescent of the months of Ramadan and Shawwal] for having guided you so that you may be grateful to Him".

(Al-Baqarah verse 185)

Ramadhan is here.

I take this opportunity to wish all my Muslims readers wherever you are, Ramadhan Kareem.

May this Ramadhan be as bright as ever. May the light of Ramadhan lead and show us to the path of peace. May this Ramadhan will increase our taqwa and imaan. And may Allah grant us His forgiveness and open the gate of Paradise to us...Amin.
